जेथे मन भितीविरहित असेल,
आणि माथा उंच असेल !
जेथे ज्ञान मुक्त असेल,
जेथे जग लहान लहान तुकड्यांमध्ये,
अरुंद घरेलु भिंतीत विभागल्या गेले नसेल.
जेथे सत्याच्या खोलीतून शब्द बाहेर पडतात.
जेथे पूर्णता कडे, अथक प्रयत्न फैलावतात.
जेथे स्पष्ट कारणाची विवेकाची धारा सुकत नाही.
मृत सवयीच्या सुनसान वाळवंटाच्या रेतीमध्ये
आपला रस्ता हरवत नाही.
जेथे आपल्या द्वारे मनाला पुढे नेणार्या विचार
आणि कारवाई मध्ये, स्वतंत्रतेच्या स्वर्गात नेल्या जाते.
हे माझ्या पितामह !
